CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. The committee reserves the right to alter, add to or delete from the program as circumstances dictates
2. The Judges decision will be final.
3. Competitors must sign competitor form for insurance reasons. Completed form must be handed in at secretary office when purchasing entry tickets. Release and waiver of liability assumption of risk & indemnity agreement to be filled out and handed to secretary’s office before competing in any classes. Note: No form filled out, no entry to events.
4. At all times, when mounted, riders must wear HARD HATS.
5. No Stallions or Colts will be allowed to enter in any section except Breed Led sections, in Ring 3 only. Stallions are not permitted in Rings 1,2,4,5,6 & 7. No Stallions are to be ridden in Open rings.(1,2,4,5,6 & 7.)
6. An adult 18yrs & over must lead all, colt or stallion with bit and chain.
7. NO refunds on unused tickets.
8. NOTE :Events will not be delayed waiting for entrants from other rings.
9. NOVICE: Never to have won first prize, competing singly, at any Show, Ag or Gymkhana.
10. Intermediate: Not to have won a 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize competing singularly at any Australian Royal Show.
11. PROTEST’S: In cases where age or height is a condition of entry any protest must be made before completion of judging of the next event. $20.00 to accompany protest.
12. LIABILITY: the Euston & District Show Society Committee accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any INJURY, DAMAGE OR LOSS sustained by any competitor, spectator, animal or equipment. Any person participating or spectator in any activity related in the Show, Does so at HIS OR HER OWN RISK.
13. PONY CLUB EVENTS: Pony club uniform must be worn, cards must be presented, & two attendance as a rider/mount combination & 50% rider attendance for the year must be eligible to compete in this ring.
14. Registration papers in Breed Classes must be carried & produced on request of the Stewards. BRING THEM !! because they will be checking all breed classes , that papers & members are financial.
15. HUNTER CLASSES: A Hunter is a horse with more substance than a show Hack but is still a high quality animal
~ Plain brown bands preferred and plain clothes when possible i.e. No colored browbands or ribbons on Lapels. Classes in Ring 1&2. You may be asked to gallop in individual workouts.
16. PRIZE MONEY: Can only be collected after 3.00 p.m. the day of the Show. Prize tickets will be handed out by stewards in classes on redemided for cash a office..
17. ( E.F.A Ruling) Exhibit who wins Championship in open class in the FIRST Ring can not compete in the SECOND Ring.
18. HELMENTS: Each and every rider competing at this event must wear an approved standard helmets at all times whilst mounted. AS/NZS 3838 (1998) Current Aust & New Zealand Standard. ~~ EN 1384 (current European Standard) ~~ ASTN F1163 (Current USA standard) At all times Riders must have harness secured on Helmets and NO TOP HATS ALLOWED.
19. Unwanted ribbons can be returned to secretary’s office and exchanged for a raffle ticket. Which will be drawn on the day.
20. PRE ENTRTY :Close 14th March 2009 at 5.30 p.m Via post :Euston & District Show Horse entry, P.O. Box 118, Euston 2737. Entry on the day will be $5.00 per class
21. Judges will be advertisted 2 weeks prior to show at www.euston.ausequine.com
